Community and In-Home 1:1 Focused ABA

  • Our One-to-One Focused ABA Program is specifically designed for children and youth and young adults with or without identified disabilities. Those with Ontario Autism Program (OAP) may be able to use their funds for this service. This service provides individualized sessions that target specific, measurable goals, with a focus on skill development. Sessions are typically 1-2 hours in length but may be scheduled more frequently based on individual needs.

    Common areas of focus for this program include:

    • Emotional regulation skills

    • Life skills development

    • Functional and educational skills

    • Communication skills

    1. Meet and Greet: Our process begins with an initial meeting involving caregivers and direct service recipients. During this meeting, we identify areas of concern, explore potential goals, and determine whether our services are the right fit for your needs.

    2. Intake and Assessment Quote: If we determine that our services align with your needs, we will proceed with a comprehensive intake process. During this step, we will provide a detailed explanation of the service structure, including a breakdown of costs. You will also receive a quote outlining the number of hours, total cost, and a specific assessment plan.

    3. Assessment: Our assessment is tailored to the individual and may involve a variety of methods, including interviews, rating scales, direct observation, and other tools. The goal is to gather critical information to better understand the behaviour in question and inform the development of a Behaviour Support Plan.

    4. Individualized Therapy: Following the assessment, we will create an individualized Behaviour Support Plan. This plan will outline the recommended strategies, hours of service, cost, and other key details to ensure clarity and transparency in the approach moving forward.

    5. Ongoing Monitoring: Throughout the duration of services, therapy and progress are continually monitored. Clinicians will collaborate with recipients to assess outcomes and adjust the plan as needed. Reviews will take place at least every 3-6 months, with the flexibility for more frequent check-ins if necessary.

  • Our One-to-One Focused ABA services are offered in a variety of settings, including virtually, in the home, or in other relevant community settings, depending on what is most appropriate for the individual’s needs.

    • Assessment: $110 per hour

    • Clinical Supervision: $110 per hour

    • Ongoing Sessions: $70 per hour

    • Travel fees (outside of Kingston): $70 per hour

    Note: All fees subject to applicable HST. OAP funding may be applied to these services, where eligible.

Child and Youth Group Services

  • Group services are typically conducted in small groups where participants share similar goals. These goals are addressed both during group sessions and through activities between sessions.

    Group services are offered as available and are scheduled periodically, based on demand and availability.

    2. Information to Include
      When filling out the form, please provide your name, age (or the age of your child), and the topic area you're interested in. We may follow up with you to schedule a meet and greet to better understand your needs and goals.

    3. Referral
      If your area of interest is not one we anticipate offering in the near future, we will gladly provide referrals or suggest alternative services that may be more suitable.

  • The location of group services may vary depending on the specific group and participant needs. Groups will typically be offered either in person or through secure group telehealth platforms. The delivery format will be determined on a group-by-group basis and communicated in advance during the registration process.

  • Group services are offered as a package, with pricing determined per group based on the number of sessions, materials provided, and group format. Specific cost details will be shared once a group is scheduled and open for registration.
